hi, I am fairly new to recovery, have been attending meetings for a couple of months and not stayed entirely sober, had an awful relapse at the weekend and still feel terrible, i have been thinking a lot about things and realise i have to up my meetings and try and find a sponsor, my current meeting is quite small and i haven't really opened up and asked for help
I found sharing was really hard I'd get so nervous. Then I'd retreat back inside and the awful thoughts would start again. Did you ever manage to share with anyone, I see your post is 4 years old.
